WHAT WE DO
Our mission is to reach communities of hurting people with the love of Jesus Christ by offering encouragement, free resources, and services that help individuals and families affected by poverty, abuse, or neglect in the greater Spokane area.

WHY THE NAME?
“H.R.C. stands for “Helping Reach Communities.” These letters are also the first initials of my grandfather Harry, my father Randy, and myself Caleb Altmeyer. I did this to honor my grandfather and father’s legacy, as well as share an example of the power of generations advancing the kingdom together.”

Caleb & Sarah Altmeyer

Executive Directors

Caleb and Sarah Altmeyer are the Executive Directors of HRC Ministries; combined, they have over twenty years of ministry experience and nine years of nonprofit leadership experience. Their greatest desire is to help people experience a relationship with Jesus Christ. Caleb started HRC Ministries at the young age of 23. He is known in the community as a public speaker and servant of Jesus Christ. He serves on multiple committees and has helped launch over eight ministries in the Spokane area. Sarah has a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from Northwest University and a Master’s degree in Administrative Leadership from Whitworth University. Caleb likes anything to do with adventure, while Sarah prefers a good book, an intellectual conversation, and a cup of coffee.
