Steve Moss was raised in Spokane, Washington where he still takes residence with his wife, Dawn. As a child he enjoyed working on carpentry projects with his Dad who taught him to develop a standard of excellence and ownership in the projects that he takes on. In 2005 Steve started his own business building pole framed structures then moved into all forms of construction. He takes great pride and value in his family and friends. He also enjoys rock climbing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and camping. He loves to learn, teach and is always looking to grow in every area of his life – which includes becoming a brew master! Steve embodies honesty and an incredible work ethic on and off the jobsite.
Stacey Edlund is at the helm of many commercial projects for Hug Construction. As a lifelong learner, he intentionally makes his professional development a part of his life style. When he is not leading his crew on the job site, he is watching videos, practicing and experimenting with new building and installation methods or learning a new trade. In leadership, Stacey knows that he must lead himself before he leads his team and Hug is better for it. To replenish, he cites listening to and writing comedy at the top of his list. When he is not making us laugh, he has folks in stitches at the local comedy club. He also holds a special place for Spokane/Coeur d’Alene fishing and the occasional barley-pop.
Paul Medina began his painting career in high school. From painting, he expanded into all the finishing trades and a diverse set of skills including carpentry and flooring. He has over 20 years of experience and when sent to any jobsite, would know exactly where he could jump into the fray. With a great sense of humor, the guys who work with Paul want to stay on his crew. Paul is faithful and works insanely hard – he will come early or stay late to get a project completed. He is also excellent at putting out an amazing product that our clients love! He loves professional sports and road trips around the PNW. He and his son enjoy life in Spokane.
Richard Davies started in construction in 1993 in the residential Framing trade and after 6 years decided to start his own contracting business. He continued framing houses and expanded to include siding and interior work such as residential Kitchens/Baths/ Drywall, Flooring, and Tile. Richard’s favorite projects were full-service whole house remodels. Eventually Richard broke into a niche market for and mastered porches, decks, pool decks, pergolas, gazebos, ground level patios, and ornate wood fences. He built exterior projects with interior precision and quality. Since joining Hug Construction, he has put his journeyman carpentry skills to use on new construction, historic restoration and running our Service Department.
Kevin Spradling is our framing extraordinaire! He has mastered this skill after years and years of hard work – he started in the construction industry when he was just 16 years old! He is loyal and runs with incredible integrity and character. All of our guys loving being part of Kevin’s crew! He is a great example of positive hustle – he is always on the go and seeking to find a new project or something to be a part of. Kevin truly enjoys building and teaching others how to succeed in the construction industry. He lives in Nine Mile with his wife and three boys – which they spend a lot of time participating in activities and sports with their boys.
